Woodbury Police Warn of Daytime Burglaries, Seek Public’s Help to Find Suspects

The burglaries have happened during late-morning hours in homes that were unoccupied.

The past three weeks have seen four residential burglaries in the area of Meadow Lane and Edgewood Avenue in the Woodbury Heights neighborhood.

There was a similar incident Wednesday, Oct 23, at the north end of Colby Lake.

The burglaries have happened during late-morning hours in homes that were unoccupied, according to a release from the Woodbury Public Safety Department.

Patch earlier this month reported about burglaries in Woodbury Heights, and police offered safety tips for residents.

The suspects are believed to be a man with scruffy facial hair and a petite woman with red hair; both appear to be in their early 20s. They usually drive an older model dark gray sedan.

Woodbury police are working on the case with their counterparts in St. Paul, as investigators believe there is a connection with similar burglaries in the Battle Creek area.

Those with information are asked to contact detective Todd Jagodzinski at 651-714-3624. If people see any suspicious activity, call 911 immediately.
