Chuck E. Cheese Plan to Go Before Woodbury Planning Commission

A 15,000-square-foot building is planned north of the Woodbury SuperTarget.

The Woodbury Planning Commission on June 3 is expected to review the site plan for Chuck E. Cheese's.

The plan calls for a new building at the Commerce Hill Development north of SuperTarget.

Paul Maenner, partner with MW Development, told Patch the new Chuck E. Cheese’s building will be about 15,000 square feet and company officials hope to open sometime this year.

“We’ve very excited about both McDonald’s and Chuck E. Cheese and we expect them to do extremely well in this location,” he said at the time.

From the Planning Commission agenda:

Woodbury Developers, LLC has submitted an application for Site and Building Plan approval for the construction of a Chuck E. Cheese’s located in the Commerce Hill Planned Unit Development (PUD). The subject site is generally located south of Commerce Drive and west of Woodbury Drive, adjacent to and immediately north of the existing Super Target store. The property is zoned B-3, Planned Shopping Center District and is guided as Places to Shop on the Land Use Plan.

There are seven other Chuck E. Cheese’s locations in Minnesota; the closest to Woodbury is on Roberts Street in West St. Paul. For more information about Chuck E. Cheese’s, visit its website.
