Rep. Andrea Kieffer Says She Will Not Seek Re-election in 2014
The Republican from Woodbury said it was "an honor to serve."
State Rep. Andrea Kieffer, a Woodbury Republican, will not run for re-election in 2014.
In a statement issued Wednesday, Nov. 6, Kieffer said:
“I am not seeking re-election for House seat 53B.

“It has been an honor to serve for the last four years but this was never intended to be a career for me.
“I look forward to hearing what the next representative will do for our community and our state.”

DFLer Kay Hendrickson, a member of the Woodbury Planning Commission, announced in July her intention to run for the seat.
