Brief: Boiler Problem Leads To Chilly Morning At Lake Middle School In Woodbury

The school's boiler system encountered an issue, prompting the school to have some students wear jackets this morning.

Lake Middle School's maintenance department discovered a problem with the building's boiler system about 24 hours ago, leading to classroom temperatures that were "less than desired" this morning, according to a message from the principal.

The issue has since been resolved, and temperatures at the Woodbury middle school are now rising, according the note from Principal Molly Roeske.

School officials allowed students to wear jackets if they chose to; some areas of the building were colder than others.

The temperature at Lake Middle School is expected to reach the normal 68-70 degree range by the end of the day today, Jan. 5.
