The lone driver was able to walk away from the crash, and was standing on the shore of the pond—near Lake Road and Woodbury Drive—when authorities arrived after receiving the call at about 4:40 a.m. Saturday, Sept 29, Woodbury Police Sgt. Sue McMahon said.

The vehicle, a late model Buick, was partially submerged in the shallow pond, McMahon said, and a Washington County recovery team and a tow truck removed the car.
