Nutritional Keys for Children’s Health & Wellness

On Monday, January 23, 2012, will host “Nutritional Keys for Children’s Health & Wellness.” 

Licensed Nutritionist Christina Swigart will discuss fundamental areas of nutrition and lifestyle that are essential for children’s well-being.

“One needn’t look far to see that children are experiencing a number of health issues today; ADD/ADHD, autism, diabetes, depression, anxiety, obesity, poor immune systems, and the list goes on,” said Swigart.

Her goal is to help parents and professionals identify the factors contributing to the current health issues facing children and to understand what lifestyle and nutrition changes can be made to provide them with optimal health.

Christina Swigart, owner of Practical Nutrition, is a Licensed Nutritionist with a Master's degree in nutrition. During the ten years she has worked in the field of nutrition she has developed a passion for educating parents on the role nutrition plays in the health of children and the importance of giving children a foundation of healthy bodies.
