Parents may verify student absences by sending a signed note approving the absence. This note should be given to the attendance office staff. Students riding the buses to the game will return to school at approximately 12:30 p.m., and lunch will be available at the school for them if they do not eat at the game.

Students remaining at the building will experience their regular school day schedule, although the school anticipates many students will be attending the game and so there will be study sessions instead of the introduction of new class work in most classes, according to Plante's note.

"It is an honor to have our school represented at the State Tournament and we do encourage students to attend the game," Plante said. "The support in the stands reinforces both school spirit and the overall high school experience.  See you at the game!"
